Getting Here From ICON Park: The Wheel to Sand Lake Rd

ICON Park is the landmark everyone on International Drive navigates by — the observation wheel is visible from most of the corridor. If that's where your evening starts, getting to us is one turn.

The route is simple because there's only one road involved for most of it: International Drive itself, then a short stretch of West Sand Lake Road.

The one-turn route

From the ICON Park entertainment complex, head to the International Drive and Sand Lake Road intersection — it's one of the biggest signals on the corridor, so you won't miss it. Turn east onto Sand Lake Road, away from I-4. We're a short block up on the north side of the road, in a single-story retail plaza just before the Universal Boulevard corner.

Heading east puts the plaza on your left, and the driveway favors westbound traffic — so the smooth move is to continue to the Universal Boulevard signal, loop back, and come in with an easy right turn. Never improvise a mid-block left across six lanes.

No car? You still have options

The I-Ride Trolley covers International Drive itself, so it can carry you up the strip toward the Sand Lake Road intersection — but it doesn't turn down Sand Lake, so the last stretch is on foot or a short rideshare hop. On a mild evening plenty of people simply walk the corridor; on an August afternoon, spend the few dollars on the ride.

Rideshare drop-off is easy here — the plaza has its own lot with space to pull in, no garage or valet loop to negotiate.

Why it's worth the one turn

The wheel side of I-Drive is built for tourists, and prices there tend to reflect it. One signal west you're in the part of Sand Lake Road where locals actually shop. We stock disposables and pod systems, THCA flower and pre-rolls, gummies, glass, hookah supplies and cigars, with lab reports for hemp products posted online and available at the counter.

We're open 9 AM to 2 AM every day, so a stop after dinner or after the wheel still leaves you hours of margin. Bring a valid ID — everything here is 21+, no exceptions.

From ICON Park, take International Drive south to the Sand Lake Road signal and turn east — we're on the north (left) side, in a single-story plaza with its own free lot, just before the Universal Boulevard corner shown below.

Can I walk from ICON Park?

Many people do — it's I-Drive sidewalk to the Sand Lake Road signal, then a short stretch east on Sand Lake. In summer heat or late at night, a quick rideshare is the comfortable call.

Does the I-Ride Trolley stop at your door?

No — the trolley runs along International Drive, not Sand Lake Road. Ride it to the Sand Lake area and cover the last stretch on foot or by rideshare.
